Bitters-Inspired Warm Cocktails Collection
Warm up with these unique gin-based hot drinks, crafted with aromatic bitters, spices, and rich flavors.
A Right Negging (Hot Negroni)
Ingredients:
• 25ml Maharani Gin
• 25ml Campari
• 25ml Valentia Island Vermouth
• Red Berry tea
• 3 dashes Orange Bitters
• Slice Orange to garnish/Cinnamon stick
Method:
• Make the tea in a China cup
• Add the top three ingredients to the tea
• Garnish with Orange slice or cinnamon stick
Delighted Dismissal

Ingredients:
• 50ml Loch Measc Gin
• 20ml maple syrup/Highbank Orchard Syrup
• 20ml Coffee Liquer
• 60ml fresh espresso
• Lightly whipped fresh cream
• 3 dashes Aromatic bitters
• Garnish: coffee beans
Method:
• Combine first four ingredients in a pan and warm gently to about 70C
• Pour into a warmed coupetee
• Pour cream over and garnish with beans and bitters
Bear’s Delight (Hot Gin Toddy)
From a recipe by Abigail Spooner — Serves 2 people
Ingredients:
• 2 Cinnamon Sticks
• 4 Cardamom Pods
• 4 cloves
• 1 tbsp local honey
• 75ml Dingle Gin
• 2 tbsp Orange or Clementine juice
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 300ml water
• Garnish: Orange/Clementine slices and 3 dashes Smoked Pear Bitters
Method:
• Put the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves in a pan with 300ml of water, boil then simmer for 10 minutes for the spices to infuse
• Stir in the honey, followed by gin, orange juice and lemon juice and bitters
• Divide between 2 china teacups and garnish with fruit slices
Hot Daddy (Gin Spiked Hot Chocolate)
Ingredients:
• 120g chocolate
• 180ml hot milk
• 45ml Bertha’s Revenge Gin
• 3 dashes Aromatic Bitters
• Garnish: Marshmallows / cream / ice cream
Method:
• Heat milk in a saucepan
• roughly chop the chocolate and stir into the milk. Simmer and stir constantly until the chocolate melt
• Take off the heat and pour into warmed china, add bitters and marshmallows or cream/ice cream and serve immediately
